The EXAP programme is open to First Year BA students of the college.
The selection procedure comprises the following:
i. Written Test (based on General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability and Current Affairs)
ii. Presentation (based on a topic selected by the panel)
iii. Selection for the Final round is based on performance in the Test and the SGPA of Semester I.
The names of students who qualify for the EXAP programme is usually announced by the Principal, on College Day (i.e. 12th December).
The EXAP programme consists of three components: Seminar, Cultural and Research. For each of these, students work in groups and write reports/abstracts/papers and make presentations. In addition they are expected to undertake one organizational activity involving social service. All EXAP students are encouraged to develop presentation, analytical, critical and organizational skills. A good SGPA is necessary to continue in the programme.

A Special Certificate and a Bonus Cash prize is awarded to a student who ranks first in two consecutive components. The Award Ceremony usually takes place during Semester VI of the UG programme.
