She is an ex-student of the College. A University Topper at the M.A. Psychology, she is a recipient of various prizes/awards, at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has been actively involved in different research projects since her post graduation which she has presented at various Conferences. She has initiated placement work as part of the study of Developmental Psychology for the SYBA students.
2018-19 was part of an ongoing collaborative project to conduct a study on ‘Observer intervention on sexual harassment : A situational Judgement approach to Assessment and Training The Centre on Gender equality and Health(GEH) University of California, USA under its EMERGE (Evidence-based measures of Empowerment for Research on Gender equality.
Ms. Teetash Singhal

Areas of expertise and research interest: therapeutic community methodology as treatment for persons diagnosed with mental illness, psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy, and the psychosocial determinants of mental health.
Ms. Simi Susan Shibu

Areas of Interest: Children of Trauma, Children with Special Needs and Behavioral Deficits, Young adults, Women as well as Sexual Minorities.
An alumnus of the college, Simi secured a second rank at her B.A. level. Having completed her Master's from SNDT Women's University, her M.A dissertation work is on Psychological Well-being, Perceived Discrimination and Spirituality among Transwomen and Bisexual Women.
Apart from serving as a Lecturer at Sophia, Simi has also been working with Bookwallah Organisation as their Research and Development Manager (R & D) since the last three years. She has been a Practicing Psychologist and Counselor since two years, in her private practice, Therapeutic Dwelling, along with her mother.

Areas of Interest: Adolescents and young adults
She is an alumnus of the college. Her postgraduate dissertation work was on Perceived Stress and Resilience in Adolescents from an Air Force Family and Adolescents from a Civilian Family.
Along with working as a lecturer at Sophia, she works with Fettle Counselling providing therapy online.

Industry by supplementing their degrees with other streams, such as human resources, market research, marketing and sales, public relations, media, law, sports, public relations, to name a few
Research and Academia, following up their bachelor’s degree with a master’s and doctorate.
