Why is counseling required?
Counseling may be required for personal problems, day to day stresses, relationship problems, coping with loss or grief, academic pressure, childhood problems, dysfunctional family, vocational guidance or if one just needs to talk to someone. |

Who needs it?
Counseling caters to all age group. Anyone who is stressed, depressed or anxious and have problems in relaxing may visit a counselor. Students may visit a counselor in order to cope with the growing academic pressure. |

Sophia Counseling centre
Is located on the first floor of the Sophia Anderson Annexe. The centre has fully trained counselors and provides extension and consultancy services in the form of counseling, talks, workshops and testing facilities. These facilities are available to the staff and students of the college as well as to outsiders.
The centre offers students a professional and formal resource in times of personal stress. |

Timings- 10.30 am to 3.30 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

- Vocational Testing and Guidance with a view to assisting students discover their aptitudes and talents and make the right subject choices in college and career choices in the future.
